THE ORGANIZATION
 The objective of the Organization shall be to foster, in the children of the community, the
ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect, so that they may
become well-adjusted members of society and grow to be good, disciplined, healthy, and
trustworthy citizens.

REGISTRATION
A. Each franchise shall establish and publish its registration policies and fees, subject to league approval.
B. Registration dates for returning and new players shall be posted on both the franchise and UGYFL websites.
C. All players must be registered and rostered before participating in any official practice or game.
D. Late registration is subject to league approval and available roster space.

ELIGIBILITY
Player Eligibility and Transfers

A. Players must meet age and residency requirements as defined by the league.

B. Proof of age (birth certificate) and residence must be provided at registration.

C. A “Returning Player” is defined as any player listed on the previous season’s final roster.

D. Transfer players must receive written approval from both the releasing and accepting franchises and the Executive Board.

E. No team shall recruit a player who is currently rostered with another franchise during the season

MINIMUM PLAY RULES
Minimum Play Rule

A. Every player in good standing must participate in each game.

B. Minimum play requirements shall be set by the league to ensure equitable participation.

C. Coaches who violate the minimum play rule may face suspension or fines.
